About Ernesto Morgado (Co-Founder and Administrator @ SISCOG)
Ernesto is the co-founder and administrator at SISCOG, studied at IST and got is PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the State University of New York. Together with is partner he brought to Portugal is knowledge in this field and founded SISCOG, a company specialized in planning & logistics systems for railway companies. Some of their clients include companies from Canada, Holland, Denmark and England (Metro).
About João Graça (CTO @ UNBABEL)
João is the CTO and co-founder of Unbabel, a portuguese startup that combines machine learning with human translation. Studied and got its PhD at IST in collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania and before co-founding Unbabel worked as data scientist at Dezine and Flashgroup.
About Miguel Almeida (Data Scientist @ FEEDZAI)
Miguel is a senior Data Scientist at Feedzai and is main work involves developing new algorithms for fraud detection using Machine Learning. Pedro was also a researcher at Priberam and the co-organiser of the Lisbon Machine Learning School until 2015.
About Pedro Rosa (CEO @ MAINHUB)
Pedro is the co-founder and CEO of MainHub, a collaborative working space in Lisbon and one of the main organizers of the IoT Summit Portugal, the biggest event of the genre in the country. Before founding Mainhub, Pedro worked as an evangelist for Microsoft in the fields of startups and was content owner at TechEd, one of the most important events by Microsoft.
About Pedro Bandeira (Director of Product Development @ NOS)
Pedro is the Director of Product Development at NOS. Received is degree in telecommunication engineering from IST and during his professional career has already worked in the two telecom giants of Portugal, PT Telecom until 2007 and NOS where it is still working today. Pedro is responsable for leading the teams that create the hardware and software for the TV, Internet, voice and mobile services of NOS Comunicações.
About Francisco Monsanto (Software Engineer @ Ubiwhere)
Francisco Monsanto, Software Engineer at Ubiwhere. Francisco has experience in web development, particularly backend development, in designing, implementing and testing RESTful APIs. He has been developing Ubiwhere's backend platform for the Citibrain product in the Smart Cities area since 2014. Francisco holds an MSc. Degree in Computer Science from the University of Coimbra, Portugal.
